ScandiFlames Electric Kjos Wall-mounted Water Vapor Fireplace - White
Kjos is a wall-mounted water vapor fireplace from ScandiFlames Electric, providing fireplace ambiance without fire or heat. Instead, flame effects are created using ultrasonic vibrations and LED lights, combining to offer a unique fireplace experience.
ScandiFlames Electric Kjos features a round design with flame view from the front.
Dimplex Cassette 400/600
The heart of the fireplace is a Cassette 400/600 firebox developed by Dimplex. The cassette has a capacity of 1.2 liters of water and can burn for up to 8 hours per refill. When refilling the fireplace, simply use ordinary tap water.
The water vapor inside the cassette is created with the help of a transducer. A transducer lasts approximately 6-12 months, depending on usage frequency, and then needs replacement. A new original transducer costs around £30-£40 and can be replaced in just 2-3 minutes.
The package includes a set of decorative logs placed on top of the cassette inside the fireplace, allowing the vapor flames to slowly rise through the decorative logs.
Installation:
The fireplace is easily and quickly mounted on the wall using a few screws. It can be mounted on all types of walls, as long as the wall can support the weight of the fireplace.
Additionally, the fireplace just needs to be plugged into a standard 230V socket.
